MY WRITING

POEMS

izusan

bursting discs behind open eyes

the ears are at rest with murre cries

an exhale fills the cave with life

the wind carries away the strife

teak

circles may clash as glass mocks cash

inhale the ash the chrome the flash

years are shed as the lights flow past

fears and cheers fill the nights at last

sunrise

water the cold stars with tears

kick till the bloody creek clears

hold tight to the winding wave

all waking tadpoles are brave

lighthouse

we're hardly belting out in key

but this is how it's meant to be

where the sky dips into the sea

forever home to you and me

constellation

you fade into the ash

i'll scrape the stars for every lie

i know it's mad and brash

yet I can't help but search the sky

firefly

the fire the flame the ember is to blame
